Current application limits
- Per file: 100 MiB.
- Per upload: 24 files.
- Stored in one connection: 24 files at a time.
- Connection duration: 30 minutes after the first device finishes pairing.
These values come from the running application's configuration. Network, browser, and server request limits may prevent a large batch even when each individual file meets the per-file limit. Try a smaller batch if an upload fails.
Supported file extensions
JPEG, PNG, JPG, ZIP, PDF, PPT, PPTX, XLX, XLSX, DOCX, DOC, GIF, WEBM, MP4, MPEG, TXT, WEBP
Files must pass content-type validation as well as the size checks. Renaming an unsupported file does not make it supported.
Expiry and deletion
Keep your own copy. This service is for temporary sharing, not backup or long-term storage. Ending a connection triggers removal of its uploaded files. Expired connections are processed by scheduled cleanup, so physical removal may occur after the expiry time rather than at the exact second.
Removing a file from the shared list removes the stored copy for both connected devices. It does not remove copies already downloaded.
Need to send a large batch?
Send fewer files per upload and download them before ending the connection. If a file exceeds the limit, use another transfer method; EasyShareApp does not offer an unlimited-size mode.
